BlueBay expands investment grade team
BlueBay Asset Management has appointed Andrew Farrell as institutional portfolio manager for the investment grade team.
Based in London, Farrell will focus on relationship management with clients and prospective clients of BlueBay’s 25-strong investment grade team.
“There have been multiple drivers of the most recent sell off in government bonds including Eurozone uncertainty, oil prices and a softening in China. As such, it is crucial to ensure we can continuously interact with our clients to help them understand what is happening in the market," said Mark Dowding, co-head of investment grade.
"Andrew’s experience in working closely with both portfolio managers and clients is central to this.”

Andrew joins BluBay from Investec Asset Management, where he was most recently an institutional client director and prior to this he was a fixed income portfolio manager.
