BoE legal head joins BNY Mellon
BNY Mellon has made an addition to its advisory compliance team for investment services in Europe and EMEA, appointing Jacqueline Joyston-Bechal to lead the group. She previously worked at the Bank of England as head of legal for the markets, banking and notes directorates.
Based in London and reporting to head of international compliance at BNY Mellon, Alain Lesjongard, her new role will involve working with regional regulators and advising the firm’s senior management teams in both EMEA and global risk and compliance.
