Macquarie appoints new head of Nordic sales
David Derger has joined Macquarie Investment Management, the
asset management arm of the Macquarie Group, as head of Nordic sales.
Based in Sweden, Derger will be responsible for expanding Macquarie’s
relationships in the region, with a focus on institutional and professional
investors.
He joins from HSBC Global Asset Management where he spent five years as a sales manager, also for the Nordic region.
Prior to his time at
HSBC, Derger spent five years at Wassum as an investment consultant and has
over 13 years of asset management experience.
Macquarie Asset Management manages more than $263bn across
24 independent investment teams, and is focused on four key market segments:
developed equities, emerging markets, global fixed income, and multi-asset
solutions.
