Jupiter bolsters fixed income unit
Asset manager Jupiter has picked Harry Richards to assist Ariel Bezalel on the firm’s £2.5bn Strategic Bond fund.
Richards, who joined the UK fund house in 2011, will provide support to Bezalel’s fixed income vehicle which has returned over 12% in the past three years.
The appointment was one of a number of changes announced by Jupiter on Thursday.
Hillary Blandy will step-up to fill the role of head of credit research, leading a five-strong credit team.
Adam Darling and Joe Moxham will be added onto Blandy’s unit.
Katherine Dryer has been named as head of investments, fixed income & multi-asset after three years as a product specialist director in the fixed income team.
Jupiter’s investment chief Stephen Pearson said the appointments are “an important part of a broader objective to expand our fixed income and multi-asset capabilities.”
It is hoped that a more formal structure, with clearly defined roles, will aid growth.
