BMO Global Asset Management has appointed Otto Donner as a sales director for the Nordic region, expanding its European distribution team.

Based in Stockholm, he will be responsible for distributing BMO’s investment range and expanding the firm’s footprint in the Nordic region.

Donner joins the firm from East Capital Asset Management where he was the head of sales to the Nordic region, responsible for institutional, wholesale and retail client coverage throughout the Nordic states, Baltics and the UK.

The hire comes as BMO continues to expand its European services, with offices opening in Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden and France over the last year.
