New tech chief for NYSE owner ICE
Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the owner of the New York Stock Exchange, has a new chief technology officer.
Mayur Kapani, who joined the firm in 2006, has been promoted to the role after serving as senior vice president of trading technology.
He will oversee ICE’s global technology infrastructure, which includes futures exchanges and clearing houses.
Providing guidance for technology at the New York Stock Exchange and Interactive Data is also part of his remit.
He reports to Chuck Vice, ICE president and chief operating officer.
Since joining ICE, Kapani has headed the teams responsible for many of the company’s most critical systems, including all ICE futures and options exchanges,
