SSGA appoints European DC COO
State Street Global Advisors has appointed Adam Grainger as the COO of its European defined contribution (DC) business.
Based in London, Grainger will report to Nigel Aston, head of European defined contribution, and will be responsible for the overall client experience as well as operational oversight and development of the DC business.
His hire comes as the firm prepares for expansion in markets across Ireland and continental Europe.
“This hire and other recent expansion of the team reflects the growing importance of the Defined Contribution business to State Street Global Advisors, said Nigel Aston.
“As the business continues to grow, following a spate of client wins including The People’s Pension, Grainger will have a significant role in ensuring best in class connectivity to platforms, master trusts and pension scheme clients.”
