Citi appoints Ireland fund services head
Citi has appointed Patrick O’Brien to head its fund service team in Ireland, effective from 13 June.
O’Brien, who joins from JP Morgan where he was the firm’s global head of client strategy, will co-ordinate Citi’s offshore business development efforts for Ireland and Luxembourg.
He will be based in Dublin reporting to both Pervaiz Panjwani, the firm’s EMEA head of global fund services; and Danny Caplan, EMEA head of investor services sales.
According to Citi, the hire reflects its focus on growing its custody and fund services business.
