Alicia Reyes to lead Wells Fargo Securities in EMEA
Alicia Reyes has been named as the new head of Wells Fargo Securities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Reyes - a founding partner of Olympo Capital, a firm serving private equity and hedge funds in Europe - has been a board member of the firm since July 2015.
She will now run the bank's entire securities division across EMEA.
The business, one part of the wider Wells Fargo bank, provides research, interest rate, commodity and equity risk hedging, M&A advice and prime services to investors.
Based in London, Reyes jointly reports to Walter Dolhare, head of Wells Fargo Securities’ markets division, and Rob Engel, head of Wells Fargo Securities’ investment banking and capital markets.
“Alicia’s 20 years of industry experience with both issuers and investors coupled with her widely recognized leadership skills makes her an excellent fit to lead our EMEA platform," said Dolhare.
Engel added: “Alicia’s extensive experience in investment banking, proven leadership and strong client relationships across EMEA will help us continue to grow our business across the region.”
