Eaton Vance launches multi-asset credit fund
Eaton Vance Management today launched an Irish domiciled and
AIFMD-compliant multi-asset credit fund in a qualifying investor alternative
investment fund (QIAIF) format.
The fund, which seeks to provide broad exposure to the
global sub-investment grade credit markets, will allow up to 40% of its assets to
be allocated to opportunistic and risk-reducing fixed income asset classes, and
will be marketed at UK and Irish investors.
The fund’s three co-portfolio managers will be Jeffrey
Mueller, Justin Bourgette and John Redding, all of whom are vice presidents at
Eaton Vance.
With global leveraged credit assets totalling $45.3bn, Eaton
Vance is a specialist in the leveraged credit market. The firm has more than
$318bn in assets under management overall.
