Bank of Montreal signs up for Kyc.com
Kyc.com, the client onboarding and due diligence joint venture between IHS Markit and Genpact, has signed up Bank of Montreal as a client.
The bank will be using the service to streamline the collection and management of it’s know your customer (KYC) information.
The system was founded in 2014 in partnership with Citi, Deutsche Bank, HSBC and Morgan Stanley, now services more than 2000 buy-side firms and corporations.
Monty Singh, senior vice president and business leader of Capital Markets and IT Services for Genpact, said Kyc.com's recent growth highlights the power of a solution that encompasses "technology, analytics, and deep domain expertise that our joint venture provides in solving multiple regulatory challenges."
“The addition of Bank of Montreal further validates the utility model for KYC and is a nod from the industry towards a disruptive yet economically efficient operating model," he added.
