RBC Investor & Treasury Services has appointed David Linds as managing director and head of asset servicing in Canada.

Linds is based in Toronto and reports to James Rausch, head of Canadian client coverage.

He joins RBC after 19 years with CIBC Mellon, where he was most recently senior vice president, business development and relationship management.

In his role with RBC, Linds is responsible for sales and client coverage activities across all asset servicing segments, including Canadian sub-custody, and across all Canadian clients nationally.

“Our ability to attract top talent like David is a strong signal that our client-centric approach and focus on key strategic markets and industry segments is working,” said Rausch.

“David’s extensive experience in asset services and custody deepens the bench strength of our coverage team and his appointment underscores our commitment to advancing our specialist provider strategy in the Canadian market.”
