MUFG Investor Services, the asset servicing arm of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, has appointed Kate Stallard as executive director, business development for Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

She will be responsible for driving the firm's asset servicing solutions by developing relationships with private equity, real estate and infrastructure investment companies.

Fund administration, asset financing, custody and regulatory support services are all part of Stallard's remit.

Formerly the founder of financial services consultancy IRIS Partners, she has also previously held the role of head of private equity, real estate and infrastructure sales at Northern Trust.

“The private equity, real estate and infrastructure sectors are a strategic growth priority for MUFG Investor Services and we are investing heavily in highly experienced teams and technology, while continuing to enhance our offering,” said Marc Russell-Jones, managing director, regional head of business development.

“Kate’s network and understanding of the asset classes are highly valuable and will enable us to support our clients’ growth ambitions.”

Stallard added: “MUFG’s commitment goes beyond fund administration, but wider services and solutions, which add value throughout each stage of the investment lifecycle.

"I am excited to work with the team and further extend our best-in-class asset servicing solutions to both general and limited partners."
