Sec finance expert Stillwell joins Pirum
James Stillwell, a former securities finance executive at Citi and State Street, has joined tech firm Pirum, Global Investor/ISF understands.
Stillwell, who specialises in securities lending, worked at Citi from December 2014 until last month.
Before that, he held a role within State Street’s securities finance client service since 2006.
Pirum, which focuses on securities finance automation, has been on a hiring spree of late.
Morgan Stanley’s Harold Bergson joined the business over the summer.
The firm moved into new offices in London in June, shortly after former Nomura executive Ben Challice was appointed chief operating officer.
It is thought that more hires are due to be announced shortly.
Last month Pirum picked up the award for best post-trade service offering at Global Investor/ISF’s annual awards dinner in London.
