Sally Tennant, a former chief executive officer of Kleinwort Benson, has joined Style Research, a research provider of portfolio style, risk and performance analytics.

Tennant joined Style on 1 December as chair of the board, alongside non-executive directors, Jeremy Hand and David England, both from Lyceum Capital. Kirsten English remains CEO of Style Research.

In addition to her role at Style Research, Tennant will continue to serve as non-executive chairman of Duncan Lawrie Private Banking, vice-chair of the advisory board of Paladin Capital Group and director of Ledunfly SA.

Tennant previously served as CEO of Kleinwort Benson, the London-based wealth management company for three years. She stepped down in April 2014 and was replaced by Martha Boeckenfield, the CFO of the firm’s parent company, RHJ International.

Kleinwort Benson is soon to be integrated with Societe Generale Private Banking Hambros in early 2017, following the French bank’s acquisition of the business from its French peer, Oddo Group. The newly combined company will have more than £14bn in assets under management, making it one of the largest wealth management companies in the country.
