Lombard Odier announces new managing partners
The Lombard Odier Group has appointed Annika Falkengren and Denis
Pittet as managing partners, both based in Geneva.
Falkengren will join Lombard Odier in July. She will remain the president and CEO of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB) until an undisclosed date, but before starting with Lombard Odier. She joined SEB back in 1987, becoming chief executive in 2005. She is also chairman of the Swedish Bankers Association.
SEB is looking for a replacement for Falkengren, the bank said in a statement today.
Pittet joined the Lombard Odier Group in 1993. He became a partner in 2007 and will be promoted to managing partner this January.
Pittet also served as group legal counsel, before joining the private clients unit in 2015 where he took over the responsibility for the independent asset managers’ department.
de Weck leaves the
group
Lombard Odier has also announced today that managing partner Anne-Marie de Weck has retired, effective 31 December 2015. She joined the group in 1997, responsible for the firm’s legal department and subsequently its private clients activity. De Weck became a managing partner in 2002.
In July 2017, the management partners of the Lombard Odier
Group will be composed of Patrick Odier (senior partner), Christophe Hentsch,
Hubert Keller, Frédéric Rochat, Hugo Bänziger, Denis Pittet and Annika
Falkengren.
