Sports clubs back sec finance charity ball
A securities finance charity ball has been backed by two of England’s top-flight sports teams.
Premier league football club Brighton & Hove Albion and rugby union’s Saracens have pledged support for event.
Other sponsors from the stock loan industry include EquiLend, Goldman Sachs, IHS Markit and Pirum.
The ball will be held in London on May 8 at Merchant Taylors' Hall. More than 200 market professionals are set to attend.
Charities chosen include the International Bankers Charitable Trust (IBCT) which aims to make a difference in the lives of needy young people in London.
The event will also raise money for Crisis - the UK national charity for single homeless people.
