Investors look to project finance

Despite the recent slowdown in the project finance market, SocGen CIB says institutional investors are looking to get involved in this niche asset class. Stephanie Baxter reports
Institutional investors are showing increasing interest in
project finance as they look for long-term investment grade
assets, according to Matthew Vickerstaff, global head of
structured finance and global head of infrastructure and
asset-backed finance at Societe Generale Corporate &
Investment Banking (CIB).
