Barclays' Americas head of fixed income financing, Michael Ellsworth, is leaving the bank, Global Investor/ISF has learned from its trusted sources.

Barclays declined to comment on his departure.

Global Investor/ISF also reported on July 15 that two UK-based managing directors left the bank's prime services division.

Several members of the team left over a period of several months between last October and early this year. Global Investor/ISF reported in January that Robert Zekraus, formerly director of prime services, had left Barclays.

Barclays made internal changes towards the end of 2013, including appointing David Lohuis as global head of equity financing in addition to his role as global head of fixed-income financing.

In May the bank set its redundancy target for this year at 7,000 across the investment bank, aiming to reduce the core business to no more than 30% of the group total by 2016.
