ECB to speak at September event
Helmut Wacket, the European Central Bank's head of Oversight Division in the Directorate General Market Infrastructure and Payments will speak at Global Investor/ISF's German Securities Finance Summit III on September 3.
Aimed at members of the securities finance industry, the conference will host panels on regulation, risk management in repo and the outlook for the securities lending.
It will also feature a panel on efficient collateral management, focusing on adapting to the new regulations, sourcing high quality liquid assets, the rise of non-cash collateral and the future of CCPs.
The European Commission's Martin Mitov will deliver the afternoon keynote address on the EC’s proposal on securities financing transactions.
