AXA IM appoints new chairman
AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) appointed three new members to its board of directors. Christof Kutscher was appointed as chairman, Barbara Fallon-Walsh and Peter Clarke as non-executive directors.
“We believe that Christof, Barbara and Peter’s insight will be invaluable as we continue to expand and strengthen our geographical footprint across the globe,” said Andrea Rossi, CEO of AXA IM.
Kutscher joined AXA IM as chairman of the board of directors in April 2014, after a career in the asset management industry, having worked with UBS Global Asset Management in Europe and Asia, LGT Capital Management and Swiss Bank Corporation. He is based in Hong Kong.
Fallon-Walsh was appointed as non-executive director in April 2014, and has previously held executive positions with Vanguard Group and Bank of America. She is based in the US.
Peter Clarke will also become a non-executive director at AXA IM in the coming months. Peter spent 20 years at Man Group, rising to the position of CEO in 2007. He is based in London.
