Jupiter hires GEM head of strategy
Jupiter has hired Ross Teverson as head of strategy, global emerging markets, a newly-created role which will see him lead the emerging markets equities team at Jupiter.
“This is an area of the market where there is a lot of potential to build our global client base through well-designed funds which meet investors’ requirements,” said Teverson.
Teverson's appointment forms a significant part of Jupiter’s plans to broaden and deepen the investment expertise of the global emerging markets team, with a view to expanding the product range targeted at domestic and international clients.
“Developing our global emerging markets capability is strategically important to Jupiter. It is a large and rapidly growing asset class where the opportunity to add value from an active investment style is significant," said Stephen Pearson, head of investments at Jupiter.
Teverson joins from Standard Life where he managed the emerging markets equity unconstrained Sicav.
“This is an area of the market where there is a lot of potential to build our global client base through well-designed funds which meet investors’ requirements,” said Teverson.
