Launch of Hedgestone Capital announced
Former CICC asset management head in Hong Kong, Jeffrey Deng, and Dennis Ni, previously portfolio manager at Atlantis Investment, have started a new hedge fund vehicle, Hedgestone Capital Group.
The group’s first fund - Hedgestone China Fund - will launch in July and focus on a Greater China equity long/short strategy.
Hedgestone will be based in Hong Kong with branch offices in Shanghai and Shenzhen. Hedgestone has appointed Credit Suisse as its prime broker and Maples as fund administrator.
