Pioneer Investments has hired Michael Dirstine, CFA, CAIA to the new position of senior vice president, institutional business development officer in the US based in Boston.

“The growth of the institutional business remains a top priority for Pioneer Investments,” said Bill Porter, senior vice president and head of US institutional, North America. 

“The hiring of a seasoned business development officer in Mike is proof of that commitment. His extensive experience and insight into executing successful business development initiatives will be instrumental as we look to build on our momentum of delivering fixed income, equity, and alternative solutions to the institutional marketplace.”

Dirstine joins Pioneer from Eaton Vance where he was vice president of institutional sales.

He has also held senior distribution roles at State Street Global Advisors and Putnam Investments.
