GVQIM welcomes Tufnell as non-exec chairman
GVQ Investment Management (GVQIM) has appointed Jane Tufnell as non-executive chairman.
GVQIM is a specialist fund manager that applies private equity investment techniques to the public markets and was acquired by RIT Capital Partners in January.
“Since our acquisition of GVQ in January, the investment performance and rapid growth in assets have continued to impress," said Lord Rothschild, chairman of RIT Capital Partners.
"Jane
Tufnell co-founded Ruffer Investment Management, a privately owned fund management group in 1994.
She is also an independent non-executive director of the diverse income trust and of the JPMorgan Claverhouse Investment Trust.
Jamie Seaton, chief executive of GVQIM said: “Tufnell brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in growing financial service businesses. I look forward to working alongside her and together continuing to develop GVQIM."
