LCH.Clearnet appoints head of repo clearing
LCH.Clearnet Group has appointed John Vinci to establish its RepoClear service in the US.
Vinci will join the firm as head of repo clearing, North America on July 13 and will report jointly in to David Weisbrod, CEO, LCH.Clearnet LLC and Bruce Kellaway, global head of fixed income, LCH.Clearnet Group.
“LCH.Clearnet Group is already a market leader in repo clearing and this new appointment will support the business's growth ambitions in North America, working with our clients and members to deliver greater efficiencies in the US fixed income markets," said David Weisbrod, CEO, LCH.Clearnet LLC.
Vinci joins LCH.Clearnet from BNY Mellon, where he was managing director and a member of the bank’s operating committee. In this role, he was responsible for product management and strategy within the broker dealer services division.
Before this, Vinci held positions at JPMorgan Chase and Bankers Trust Company.
