Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) has hired Stephen Doyle as its new head of institutional sales for asset managers and insurers in the UK and Ireland. Joining from Northern Trust, he will be responsible for the development of SGSS’ UK franchise and will report directly to the head of sales, business development & relationship management in the UK, Michael Le Garignon.

At Northern Trust, Doyle worked as the firm’s sales manager for global fund services in the UK. His move to SGSS comes as the firm works to expand its UK client base in the wake of regulatory approval to offer trustee and depositary services in the UK for UCITS and alternative investment funds.
