Euronext’s finance chief is leaving the group after fifteen years to work for a fintech firm in New York.

In a statement sent out late on Monday, the European stock market operator confirmed Amaury Dauge's departure.

He was a key figure in Euronext’s IPO and separation from ICE in 2014.

BNP Paribas corporate finance exec Giorgio Modica has been named as Dauge’s replacement.

He will be supported by Bernard Holsboer, treasurer and tax director, who has been promoted to group finance director.

Stéphanie Bia, current head of investor relations, has been promoted to head of investor relations and business performance.

Jan Breken will remain responsible for all group accounting and consolidation.

Meanwhile Deutsche Bank's Camille Beudin has joined Euronext as head of M&A.
