Swift joins ABN Amro as equity finance director
Former Newedge executive Lawrence Swift has joined ABN Amro as a director of equity finance.
Based in London, Swift is understood to have joined the Dutch bank in April, after leaving Newedge in January.
SocGen acquired 100% of Newedge in 2015, meaning the brokerage house now falls under the French bank's corporate & investment banking arm.
Swift held the position of associate director of secured financing services flow trading at Newedge from 2013.
Between 2006 and 2012 he worked at MF Global as an equity finance trader, providing clients with stock loan equity positions.
