Nikko names global head of sales
Nikko Asset Management has appointed Yuichi Alex Takayama as the new global head of sales for its international sales business.
He will also serve as head of the international business development and sales
planning division, leading the firm’s international sales strategies.
Takayama
was most recently employed by Tokio Marine Asset Management as the CEO of its
London-based European office, and later as a managing director for the firm’s
Japan Engagement Fund.
Operating
from Nikko AM’s Tokyo headquarters, Takayama will liaise with the firm’s
overseas unit heads and senior sales managers to coordinate sales for foreign
institutional investors.
